Terrible performance

lower the graphics (its a stratagy game, do you really need to right up as close as possible to the guys?)

It's a common problem, it seems to be very cpu-heavy. Try to turn off antialiasing and vsync.

Graphic options are found in the main-menu under "options"
I would also recommend to disable replays and further decrease your settings like described in these guides:

Thanks that seemed to help abit but i still cant get a rock solid 60 fps such a shame.

Also, disable recording. (Go into my games > Company of heroes 2 > playback > Properties > disable "write" priveleges for all users under security tab)

supposedly gives extra frames have not tried it yet will report back later. but yes this is a supposed fix as well.

The game is great. Just adjust/test out your graphics options when in game. Really need the most up to date main CPU and a decent video card. :/

I'm running the game on old AMD Athlon II based procs, 64bit quad system, GTX 770 video card. Runs great even in 2560x1440 resolution in single player, but when going online it can lag a bit.

It often locks in replays and in the menue to two fps.
If im lucky it jumps back to 60fps.
In a match it's always perfectly smooth at vsync 60fps
