How to deal with Map hackers - A guide
Hello there,

So recently (last few months), I decided to try something.
After the last year and half of failing measrably with my regular tactics and game play, I realized that map hack was getting quite common, hence my camo flanking isnt gonna work anymore, just like my baiting and trapping that worked for years vs the low ranks I meet.

These are my tips on how to deal with them.

1- Identifying them in the early game:
--- Flanking is an essential part of coh2 (and most games to be honest), if you notice that no matter what angel you're coming from , there is an MG/AT waiting for you thats a good sign
--- If the enemie never scouts, meaning they never send pios to test for MGs or mines
--- If they smoke the fresh mg you just placed and they never encountered it to know its there.
--- if their sniper/tank or in general all units starts backing off just as you come from behind with a counter

2- Using their map hack against them
--- Once you have a suspect, start spreading your units, and make sure you're always moving as much as possible, re-position your mgs and mortars whenever you can, randomly.
--- If you want to catch a sniper or out flank a position , clear the area of your units and show no intention of flanking so they feel secure, then send a pio to scout and to see whats waiting for you there, then prepare a halftrack with 2 units inside, map hack might show the halftrack but they dont know whats in there, sacrafice the halftrack to get the units you need behind their lines, remember to eject them before it dies so u wont lose, if you do it fast enough, they will either wont react fast enough, or just panick and retreat their units making them volnureble to fire, make sure to use fast killing units like Shocktroops/Panzergrenadiers and use their grenades on the retreating units path.

The general notion of fighting map hackers is basicly accept they see every units you have and where its at, and make sure that you always make surprise movements that even if they see it they dont have much time to react, meaning never flank on foot, always use a sacraficed halftrack , you can combine that with smoke to null their MGs/ ATs.

Consider the fact that map hackers, have one disadantage, they see so much, its sometimes is distracting and can be intimidating , espacialy if you keep moving and making them react and second guess .

This of course won't work vs good playes who also use map hack, but I do believe that map hack degenerated a player's skill and game play and they watch over every movement you make, making them have to work harder if you keep moving randomly even if you're not under attack.

If you have any more tips, feel free to add.

You know what the funny thing is? I actually checked that word 'cause I always get it wrong, and still, wrote it wrong.

Also, its measurably and not measrably, and there are atleast 4 more words I misspelled, which makes its hillarious that you corrected the one word I actually tried to spell properly xD

Cheats indeed ruin the game, however its out of our control sadly and I found success in fighting map hackers with new tactics, so I figured I'll share and maybe even get more from others.

Well... you can PROBABLY bait them? Like I said before, if you know that they know your every move they should be preparing for your every move... and then you do something different. Same would probably apply to tanks and MGs unless there are too many. But I sucked so hard at this game in my latest hours I got it deleted XD

I can't spell chekoslovakia. I mean, I can copy-paste it, but it's one of those words
I simply cannot grasp. We all have our dark horses.
- I stopped playing most FPS because of aimbots, etc ^_^ So I get you.

Aimbots are easy to deal with in FPS, they play the dumbest way possible chasing the kills : -/

(They take the FUN away)
They were fun to deal with usually, they added something unique in the otherwise usual gameplay... except for games like Red Orchestra 2
