now you see low level players think that axis is op because their stuff is superior but its less that and more about the amount of units that you have to micro allies have a lot of units means more micro and low level players cant deal with it hence why they think axis is op
however when you get to high level games microing becomes less of a issue because of higher skill level thats why axis players also yell "allies op"
in a match a axis player can wipe squad after squad but their enemy will just keep making more because theyre cheaper but if lets say the ostheer loses a panther or the okw looses a obersoldaten they in preeetty deep crap because of how much the cost is but as a soviet you can loose conscripts all day long it wont do jack
and lastly I wouldnt call axis units superior to their allied counterparts yes units like obers exist but allies also have op units in your case I would say "the guards rifle and t34-85"
these two units are the bread and butter of any soviet player and nightmare of every axis player not only are they effective against infantry and tanks theyre also cheap as hell a guards rifle squad can 1v1 almost anything you throw at it sure it wont kill a p4 but they will do considerable damage to it combined with their "button vehicle" and "hit the dirt" ability that gives them more survivability and omg dont even get me started on how hard they are to kill same goes for t34-85 it can easly kill a p4 while being only slightly costly whenever I play soviets these two units are sure to appear in my roster because theyre just too good to pass on I can bring up more examples of op allied and axis units but I think I ranted enough.
But when I play it's usually my enemies who lose more and spawn more until they get to better units. They have both quantity and quality. I have only quantity and a little bit of quality of my vetted units and that is lost very easily.
Guards... Before they vet up they are just as strong as Grenadiers. Maybe just a bit strong
T-34-85's only upside is that it is a better at everything version of T-34-76 that is just a little bit more expensive than Panzer, but it's up to RNG who will win in a shoot out
idk man every faction has their own cheese and with how lelic moved to coh3 and never looked back, the game will get stale eventually.
I think its the same answer as always...
Every faction can be OP if you're facing better players.
Over the years I've heard "OP" on littely every faction!
I think that each one requires different skills tho...
IF you're an amazing stratagiest but suck at micro, maybe Axis is better for you.
If you dont care much for holding off and like to be super aggrrasive, maybe US is the better choice for you.
If you like being more defensive and enjoy long games, maybe brits could be better for you.
Personaly I think the closest think to being OP would be axis, only because of the variety you get even without choosing a commander.
You litterly have everything, maybe not the best of everything, but u dont always need the best.
even without a commander the Panther can be used as "heavy" if u use its front shield.
you get MGs, panzer grens who are great and short to medium ranges and can be turned into AT units.
you've got good ATs, good mortars, and even artilery in the forum of werfers.
I do believe they are the most flexible ones.. but not OP..
