Axis players that think Allies are OP, why?
As a mainly Soviet player, like many other allies, I always thought the Axis are OP. Panzergrens that have squad wiping grenades that with some luck can even wipe your squad if you retreat, MG that will suppress your entire army if you don't play attentively, line infantry that is so much better than any allied infantry, OKW's T3 that can be put at the fuel and you will never have an opportunity to cut it off until you destroy this base, Wehrmacht's mine field that takes ridiculously small amount of time to be put(OKW can also build it), and tanks like Tiger that win the games when accompanied by Panther.
Literally, what problems do axis have? To be honest, I didn't play them much, don't like their gameplay. But every time I see Axis player yelling about Allies being OP I feel like they need a free nuclear bomb just so their gameplay doesn't get too hard.
And I know that Allies now have bigger winrate, but this proves nothing, and the difference is not that big anyways, it's almost the same

It is not an attempt to humiliate Axis players they humiliate themselves by playing axis xddd I'm just interested what is this that makes playing Axis so hard
because allies have more units with more quantity compared to axis thats the biggest reason why all of this mumbo jumbo about balance happens

now you see low level players think that axis is op because their stuff is superior but its less that and more about the amount of units that you have to micro allies have a lot of units means more micro and low level players cant deal with it hence why they think axis is op

however when you get to high level games microing becomes less of a issue because of higher skill level thats why axis players also yell "allies op"

in a match a axis player can wipe squad after squad but their enemy will just keep making more because theyre cheaper but if lets say the ostheer loses a panther or the okw looses a obersoldaten they in preeetty deep crap because of how much the cost is but as a soviet you can loose conscripts all day long it wont do jack

and lastly I wouldnt call axis units superior to their allied counterparts yes units like obers exist but allies also have op units in your case I would say "the guards rifle and t34-85"
these two units are the bread and butter of any soviet player and nightmare of every axis player not only are they effective against infantry and tanks theyre also cheap as hell a guards rifle squad can 1v1 almost anything you throw at it sure it wont kill a p4 but they will do considerable damage to it combined with their "button vehicle" and "hit the dirt" ability that gives them more survivability and omg dont even get me started on how hard they are to kill same goes for t34-85 it can easly kill a p4 while being only slightly costly whenever I play soviets these two units are sure to appear in my roster because theyre just too good to pass on I can bring up more examples of op allied and axis units but I think I ranted enough.

Huh, makes sense, yeah

But when I play it's usually my enemies who lose more and spawn more until they get to better units. They have both quantity and quality. I have only quantity and a little bit of quality of my vetted units and that is lost very easily.

Guards... Before they vet up they are just as strong as Grenadiers. Maybe just a bit strong

T-34-85's only upside is that it is a better at everything version of T-34-76 that is just a little bit more expensive than Panzer, but it's up to RNG who will win in a shoot out

Lol, the dev's. coded in some cheats that favor the Germans, what else?
The only cheat that comes to my mind is Luftwaffe's 50 fuel in one minute for 200 manpower or 150 ammo. Too cheap!

Opinions are subjective but most of the complaints from axis players are specifically about british the faction being too weird, guards being an anti-everything unit and pathfinders zooks + scotts combo being too silly.

idk man every faction has their own cheese and with how lelic moved to coh3 and never looked back, the game will get stale eventually.
Pathfinder zooks? Why giving it to them?
Can I ask what is micro? :headcrab:
It's when you don't select your entire army and send them in one direction hoping it will win you tla match. You select different units, combine their abilities, watch them carefully so they don't die, and.play like this
Thank mate

This is mostly seen with Chinese players. Pathfinders with zooks act as mobile AT, /spotters while Scotts serves to damage enemy infantry. Since the Scotts are very good at what they do, even with the bazookas, pathfinders can still finish off wounded models thanks to their crit rifles.

Jaeger Light Infantry will finish them off more often and is the strongest long distance unit when it comes to 1v1 any other unit from the cover

Well I am starting to like your threads, nice discussions

I think its the same answer as always...
Every faction can be OP if you're facing better players.

Over the years I've heard "OP" on littely every faction!

I think that each one requires different skills tho...

IF you're an amazing stratagiest but suck at micro, maybe Axis is better for you.
If you dont care much for holding off and like to be super aggrrasive, maybe US is the better choice for you.

If you like being more defensive and enjoy long games, maybe brits could be better for you.

Personaly I think the closest think to being OP would be axis, only because of the variety you get even without choosing a commander.
You litterly have everything, maybe not the best of everything, but u dont always need the best.

even without a commander the Panther can be used as "heavy" if u use its front shield.
you get MGs, panzer grens who are great and short to medium ranges and can be turned into AT units.
you've got good ATs, good mortars, and even artilery in the forum of werfers.

I do believe they are the most flexible ones.. but not OP..
Simply the versatility/vet bonuses in combination to the ambigous balance decisions of the balance team make the allies a less frustrating experience. A few examples would be the Popcap reduction for the emplacements, flares on mortars, self spotting TD´s, no "either or" upgrades like on axis. With Axis you constantly have to make a choice of either Unit A or B, with Allies you have several units that can do both and that without doctrines.
allies have bigger winrate? not in 4v4 / 3v3. I always face Axis with 50-51% winrate+, and allies are 45-50% (especially ussr, lol)
