How do I save my campaign?

I started a single-player campaign and aside from an auto save in the middle of the first mission, as well as a manual save I made near the end as well, the game doesn't save anywhere else. I assumed it would auto-save between missions so I can complete one, log off and then star the next one later but that's not the case. The only thing I can do is reload the manual save I made during the mission; I don't see any option to save between campaign missions manually or auto save. Is this something I need to set up in the options?

In Soviet Campaign you can save everywhere when not cutscene and when no one is speaking
In Ardennes Assault you can't save manually, you need to alt+f4, go to your saves folder and copy your saves

I can see where I can save during a mission but I don't see how to save in between them. And the game doesn't seem to auto-save between missions either. With CoH the game would save as soon as I was done with a mission so when I came back it would load the menu asking me to start the next mission instead of me having to start it and then save it so I can play it later; I like to jump back in before the mission brief in case I don't come back for a while and forget what the brief said if that makes sense.

Saving between the missions in Campaign? I suppose you mean the Ardennes then, American campaign. When you finish the mission, you go back to main menu, see the latest save and delete the other saves. Then alt+f4 and go to saves folder, find the folder with the save(should be the only folder with a save). It may be Save17(or something like that). You just paste the copied save file as many times as you think you need in the empty folders like Save1 Save69 Save666 and this is how you save

Nope, I'm talking about the regular CoH2 campaign with the Soviets. Maybe I'm missing something between missions. I only played for a few hours and plan on playing again sometime today.

You have nothing between the missions. It's a story mode.
