Bouncy physics?
I assume soldiers bouncing from the ground aka ragdolls, are normal for this game? Like it does look off, but that is not a glitch right?

Yes. Very normal. Tank turrets fly into space etc
Ok thanks for answer. It is strange at first, but I'll get used to it!

It is a game. Not a simulation :)

When you flag a ragdoll what you're doing is replacing all the bones with dynamic colliders that are in the 'shape' of the body with the hands and legs. You're essentially removing the rig, animations, bones etc and just replacing the entity with a physics object.

Sometimes if a leg or arm or anything is clipped into another collider and the entity "dies" that will trigger the swap to the physics and because it's clipped it will try and "push" the collider out, depending on the physics and frames the object can shoot out.
That's why in most games you see it 'snap' into place and 'fall' down.
Yeah this makes sense guys.
I did not notice such "strange" physics in CoH 1 or 3 . For some reason in 2 I see the soldiers are way more bouncy.
At first I was thinking there is something wrong with PhysX, but now I am sure this is how it is suppose to be. In that case I am calm and ready to enter the campaign battlefield.
Thanks!

Too many people complained that COH2 wasn't 'a simulation' aka Men of War, etc
Relic made it so you *KNOW* it's not a simulation ^_^
