Hardly have the time to use them, since it hardly help any support weapons other than just giving you basic intel where the enemy movement and act accordingly.

Its basicly a mini S-mine with flares once triggered for 10 mun. Most players will just use mine instead which a potential of squad wipe.

It's useful for the following reason:
1. Your units can shoot farther than their line of sight, so it's good for snipers and mg's.
2. They're supposed to scatter infantry (as if they were hit by a mortar for example). It gives you time to relocate your mg.

It costs 1/3rd of a "good mine". It doesn't do any damage afaik and getting vision usually isn't too hard anyway. I find it quite useless but I see the purpose of it, protecting flanks etc.

It's particularly usefull if you have incen barrage.... or a nearby mortar or howitzer if you place it on an approach path to a capture point. Esp if the point is valuable (eg. a cut off)...or fuel or something u wish to deny the enemy. If you are lucky (and more often than not) i do think it results in one gren model loss.

it does kill, if the model is within its tiny blast radius. Usually i will result to a model lost. Some lucky cases will result to squad wipe (badly wounded squad)

From my experience it hardly benefits Maxim, as maxim does not have suppression power at range.

Well it´s cheap and can be placed rather fast so sometimes I use a ton of them at a single point. But only on remote ones, since any kind of tiny explosion can set them off.
