Is The Western Front Armies worth it?

Sounds like a HD remake of COH 1 MP to me.

There's a lot of good stuff. Good value for 2 new armies, and new stuff for all players such as custom lobbies and war spoils (that drop premium content)

coh2.org got a unit listing and both the Americans and Oberkommando West are differnt to CoH versions and current CoH2 factions.

yes, IMO. Good new 3d models (with way better looking uniforms), catchy music (more vivid than vCoH2's music, but same composer), cool voice acting, VERY good looking new maps (8), the COMMANDERS actually have an individual vibe to them (unlike vCoH2 commanders). I think they defintley topped vCoH2 with this.

But actually, do you need people to tell you what to think? Just watch some videos. For example this one by Ohmwrecker, it gives a good impression of what awaits you with this expansion:

It depends... for 20 bucks you get new units (US forces and German)which is nice... and I knew there wouldn't be a new campaign. Was hoping that there would at least be one theater of war for western fronts units. Units are definitely all different, so that's a plus...

I guess if you are really in to multiplayer this is worth it. If single player is your thing, it's not worth it.

best it is for non coh2 owners, as i see on the store page:

it is standalone, but customers are able to play "our" 23 maps with their units anyway, nice to us that payed/own the "full" game.

maybe they do not have the units from the main game but they get that maps we paid for.... so i read the description of western front

US Forces a severe diappointment. You are provided the primary base with buildings that must be activated and you cannot build more so no forward bases, no forward support outside of an ambulance. Very disappointed. That is as far as I have played for now and just to note, sound quality of prior to DLC Patch is gone on my X-Fi.

OKW is far easier than USA, the USA lacks effective counters to jagdpanzers and tigers! This is still early in release though, and it will soon be balanced I imagine.

For 20$ it is worth it, but it feels quite different from vanilla.
