Crash on Launch

Everytime I try to launch CoH2 it straight up just crashes on start, I don't see anything from the game I just see Steam say "Launching" and then it goes back to saying "Launch".

It used to run fine on my PC, as it should, but now it just straight up doesnt want to launch at all.

I've tried Verifying Game Files, Reinstalling the game, restarting Steam, removing all Workshop downloads. Nothing has worked so far.

I even tried using PCGW's fix of "screendevice=DirectX11 rendering device" from DX9, but it just doesnt work still

Game crashes on launch for me too. Just started to do that recently as I ran this game last month with no issue.

I bet it is a LUA update problem. All my games that updated aspects of LuA are having issues. Such as CMO.

One point every one appears to be having some issues being slight lag, bug splats and disconnection from the servers. So remember you may still have issues.

Okay, after fresh install. Graphics card update. Windows 11 update. AND MUCH FRUSTRATION. I found fix.

Go to Company of Heroes, right click for properties, set launch options to:

-refresh 120

Didn't work for me.

But I did
-refresh 60
set 60 fps lock on RIVA TUNER (sofwtare with afterburner)
disabled steam overlay
exited all nvidia apps

now game works

I would like to mention that mine has seem to fixed itself. I think it was a bug with recent drivers, as when I updated my nvidia drivers again it worked again. Could be different drivers too since I did a driver update marathon the other day, but the only thing to change between it running and not before was updating drivers, and it worked when i updated again.
