And Comet Comet baby I like this tank very much it need micro it sometimes cant penetrate frontal armor of Panther but Panther cant do it too its nice counter to Panther and Germans heavy tanks
i will stay with comet then instead of churchill as i dont like that chunk of metal so much
Its all about keeping on the move, shoot n' scoot, zip around etc. etc. treat it as you would a light tank basically.
Vet 1 turns the smoke shot into phosphorus shot to own AT guns and MGs - Has a grenade toss ability like the churchill and at vet three it just starts hurling grenades all over the place when inf are close.
not to mention it's fast enough (especially with warspeed) to flank anything and has a pretty decent gun.
-Cromwells are like a toned down versions of the Comet - still fast but weaker gun and regular smoke only (no phosphorus) but you can still block AT guns sight with it -No grenade ability
- All for a much cheaper fuel cost.
this is not correct. cromwell handles panzer iv fine. it has trouble vs the okw one though as that one has more armor from vet0.
Understand that there isn't side armor in this game. Tanks are basically divided in half, front and back. Shots to the side will hit one of these two vehicle halves.
The Cromwell is a different thing though, it has most of Comet's features, but a much weaker and slower gun, wich makes it a cheap option, but it is not a game changing tank at all.
im used to shermans so cromwell is like a uppgraded version.
Like others said, it's basically a Panther with much better anti-infantry capability. Also, with war emergency speed, it's one of the fastest tanks in the game. You can run circles around a Panther (which you should, because in a front armour vs front armour slugfest, the Panther will probably still win, unless the RNG gods are on your side).
As for the Cromwell, it's the cheap, poor man's version of the Comet. It's still superior to the base USF Sherman for anti-tank work, mainly due to its high speed, which makes flanking runs on Axis tanks easier.
