it'd be thick enough to stop the shells based on the situation but I just turn it side-ways :P.
the only british thing i find ridiculoss are commando's which are too strong for me to enjoy.

not at all. 152mm armor VS 180mm+ of penetration (tiger 2 and panther) at short range, the churchill was outgunned and outmatched, although it did only need a small angle to delfect projectiles, a 90 degree, close range hit (almost impossible partly due to the size of the tank, it was much lower than a tiger 2 or panther was) would pierce straight through.

Jagdpanther is intended as a Tank Destroyer, it has comparably light armor to other vehicles it's size to allow it to hit harder. Jagdtiger also is of that same line of thought, although it can mix it up if need be occassionally. But they both are far better as ambush tactics, using them in a straight up fight with a heavy tank of any type is suicidal due to previously mentioned lighter armor.

The heavy churchill could probably sustain fire from the jagdpanther under battle conditions. Even if the hull armor was flat it was still 152mm thick. If it hit the turret it might go through but the jagdPanther is still only using a 75mm gun, however high velocity. Also, it's still really bad against panthers and tigers so I think being a brick wall is completely fine (it also takes forever to research/afford).

Yeah, I don't understand why people haven't understood this yet. If you have enough panthers and tigers to complain about the churchill not dying, why didn't you just go around it and destroy everything else. The firefly still can't pen the panther reliably and the 17pdr emplacement is really slow to rotate/fire. It would be a field day if you had 2 or more panthers/tigers.

This however is not a history lesson or realistic simulation of WW2, GJ too because the Churchill would be owning everything you guys have.

Its a game that is loosely based on certain units and as such its all balanced around eachother whilst keeping its own unique flair. The Churchill in this iteration of the game is aweful for anything other than taking damage. The commander call-in versions are pretty nasty with their damage but the AVRE is pretty vulnerable due to the reload time and the Crocodile is only useful against infantry. The standard Churchill is there simply to take damage so you can utilise the Fireflies to kil the tanks.

Basicaly if hte enemy is using a Churhcil against you stop being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and try attacking the Firefly/AT gun thats owning your tanks.

I'd say the british Tank Loses would be maybe 20,000...
I'd say Germany lost around 40,000 captured or destroyed since they fought more on land in the war then the UK which used Air support to assist in their attacks more then tanks.

Brits lost around 20,000 tanks in the whole of WW2.

Germany lost around 40,000.

not even a pak43 dude. In a 3v3 LASTNIGHT, we had an elefant, a KT, a jadgt tiger, 2 p4s and a panther against 5 or 6 churchills AND LOST. We have the damn replay. dont tell me a pak is gonna make it all better, when tanks that are DESIGNED to kill armor cant even win against them.

so, in a 6V6 vs 3 more expensive and 3 less expensive tanks, including 2 P4s which are around cromwell levels of effectiveness, you lost. Seems normal to me. You took on the equivilant of around 6 panthers.
