Churchill also has no sloped armor and some people in this thread love this Tank.

has no sloped armor, but is thicker (in later models) than the tiger's armor, so angling it will be highly effective, but it also has a craappy gun. the comet will be nice for a fast tank with a good gun, same with the firefly (hope we get a tulip too)

i mean who really tests these things anyway... they are either drunk or smoking some chit.. i guess their thinking is lets make things buffed then we can work backwards from there... i had a tiger, 2 panths, pak and that church still took 8 hits and got away.... now a patch is coming out soon after this retardedness.... very sad relic...

just go around the churchill, since it's gun isn't all that good, kill the fireflys since they are innacurate and shoot slowly, with little armor and HP, then pound the churchill into submission.

The Dieppe Raid was not the churchill's fault. The raid was a failiure due to poor plannig. If you want an example of a battle going bad because of a poorly designed tank, look at how the panther preformed at Kursk.

yes u do that tactic but u fight if the other player are decent with at and infatry, u will lose for sure, and is not real that the churchill has more armor then the king or jagtiger

Historically Churchill VII's had 152mm of armour, not to mention its rather sloped at the front. if your getting killed by a churchill tank vs tank then maybe you shouldn't be attacking it head on, its a heavy tank, throwing some random tank at its face and expecting a win is ridiculoss. my friend has often bested my churchill by pulling unexpected ambushes/flanks, not to mention we decided to go into a quick match and a Wehr and OKW beat us with basic tanks.
