My solution for Bug Splat Crashes. - Bugsplat

Hello,

i solved the problem! Since the last update, every single match crashed after a few minutes with CTD an Bug Splat.

What i've done:

- Deinstall the display drivers
- After this you have to run the tool "Display Driver Uninstaller - DDU". This tool cleans your system completely from the display driver.
- Download the newest display driver for your graphics card and install it without any additional software like AMD Rapture oder nVidia gforce experience. Just only the driver!
- Than delete your "C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2" directory and the RelicCOH2.exe in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes 2".
- Restart Steam and let Steam verify your COH 2 Game Files. This should take 5 minutes and download the automatic update for COH2.

I forget something to say:

After this run following programs:

- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
- Spybot - Search & Destroy
- Ad-Aware Anti Virus
- run the Windows onboard Clean Manager and delete all files
- activate die write protection for the replay folder in my games / coh

And sorry. I know i spamed yesterday the forum with thist post, but COH 2 needs every single gamer who's playing the game. It's important to share this solution to keep up many COH Players. =)

Unfortunately it crashed again a few times today. After your procedure i could play three matches without problems, so i thought it was fixed. Unfortunately it's not. Thanks for the suggestion though!

My solution : Close any browser completely, this really seems to increase stability.

For me it works just fine. I played today 3 hours and yesterday 3 hours without having bug splat.

Try something more:
activate the write protection for your COH/replay folder in my games

play the game on the lowest setts then creep them up slowly till you get crashes again works for me but everything is roughly medium setts plus no anti aliasing but thats just bling amyway as an added bonus i never get pink buildings vehicles anymore...yay!

Hello all,

I've recently started playing CoH 2: Ardennes Assault. I've made it to the final mission.

Everything is working fine until I am in control of Dog Company. As the Germans begin to retreat, the game crashes, and a popup message from Bug Splat appears, stating that the game has crashed.

I've tried this mission numerous times, saved it at a specific point before I go from Baker to Dog, and even lower the settings on the game. Yet it still crashes at that same moment.

If any of y'all can provide me any assistance on this matter, it's greatly appreciated. I've reviewed the previous posts, but I'm not certain if my version has those settings as described.

System Specs:
DELL Inspiron 3477 AIO
Processor: Intel Core i7-7500 CPU 2 @ 2.7GHz
12 GB Ram

Recientemente he empezado a jugar a CoH 2: Ardennes Assault. He llego a la misión final.

Todo está funcionando bien hasta que yo esté en control de La Compañía de Perros. A medida que los alemanes comienzan a retirarse, el juego se bloquea, y aparece un mensaje emergente de Bug Splat, indicando que el juego se ha estrellado.

He probado esta misión varias veces, la guardé en un punto específico antes de ir de Baker a Dog, e incluso bajar la configuración en el juego. Sin embargo, todavía se estrella en ese mismo momento.

Si alguno de ustedes puede ayudarme en este asunto, es muy apreciado. He revisado las publicaciones anteriores, pero no estoy seguro de si mi versión tiene esa configuración como se describe.
