Stug better value than Panzer IV?

I never really used these things because I don't like the fact that they don't have a rotating turret but since I've been using mechanized assault more I decided to buy a couple since they're cheaper than the panzer IV and I wanted to save fuel for my Tiger.
These things seemed to perform amazingly well against tanks for their low price.
Does anyone else prefer the Stug to the Panzer IV?

StuG -> Cost effective AT/ cheap TD

PZ IV-> All round tank

Diffrents roles. If you save up fuel for heavy its better to go StuG, especially since they can support it well

Stug is cheapest,effective as hell Tank Destroyer
PZ4 is normal tank

With the stug you gotta position it right though, but it can be really effective

I prefer the PzIV because it's great anti-infantry. The stug is better if you just want AT. I supplement the PzIV with an AT gun and it does well though.

stug 3 recently got some minor nerfs but is still good TD for wehrmacht. For one, you can rely on stug 3 instead of pak since pak MP upkeep is quite high

Panzer Iv: good mobile anti-everything.

Stug: long range tank sniper.
