Panzerschreck. More damage, same price, used against units with less armour.

But you shouldn't just compare them. It's about how viable you feel the choice is in your situation. Having a bazooka-team at the right time is just priceless. So it doesn't matter which one is better.

While the Panzerschreck is equal in a 'net' munitions cost sense (assuming the cold immunity of the Volksgrenadiers is worth 30 munitions) both the upgrades that grant Panzerschrecks for the OKW and Wehrmacht are more expensive than a single Bazooka for the USF.

But yeah, a direct comparison is silly because its more about situational use and effective use of munitions.

Also consider the units wielding the weapons.

Thanks guys. :)

As you cannot buy both of them on the same faction comparing them is kind of... well anyways.

As far as I know panzerschrecks do more damage but I don't know all the technicals.
Wehrmacht panzerscreck have the same munition cost as the bazooka (60 munition a piece) but is locked behind tier 2 upgrade/building and a 360MP cost.

Oberkommando West panzerscreck isn't locked behind any cost exept for volksgrenadiers (240MP I believe) and costs 90 munition a piece.

Bazooka is locked behind a (I believe) 150MP cost and 25 fuel, and costs 60 munitions a piece and can be picked up by any unit with availiable weapon slots.

Hard to say which ones the better as they both are incredible to have at the right time.

from playing US forces a bit (after really wanting a change from playing exclusive German) i've noticed the bazooka appears to have critical hits thrown into its formula, Have about 6 of them and then try and attack a Panther head on (stupid idea) and you'll see maybe one or two go through the armor on occasion and do some actual serious damage (one that may force a retreat)

I've also had the bazooka one shot a light tank on rear hit, when I know from using bazookas they do not do enough damage to one shot even light tanks.

Maybe Panzerschreck does straight AP damage and doesn't have criticals?

Pzschreks are still the better weapon, but bazookas in numbers (6+) will easily beat them due to being able to be equipped on any unit with spare weapon slots.

After playing with the US for a long time and going back to the oberkommando, I noticed that my Volksgrenadier squads with panzer shreks absolutely WRECKED (in comparison.) It's like a long lost power that your just then recalling. So not only is the Panzer Shrek better, but its cheaper which I think it is rediculous. Especially since the USF already lacks any decent Anti-Vehichle units.

In a direct comparison at any time against any unit, the panzerschreck is better for cost and damage, not to mention really good penetration and the current weak light and medium armor for allies as ShodaN generously already stated than the bazooka. Any AT weapon is situational as its effectiveness is predicated on a target (some vehicle) being around to shoot at. In that case the panzerschreck wins again and the US bazooka has a manpower and fuel tax on top of the fact that it costs the same and you have to retreat to base in order to get it which gives the enemy oppurtunity to attack you while axis panzerschrecks are given in the field.

In conclusion the panzerschreck is better by far.

This. Odd that the OKW one costs 90 Muni for a single. Thats about what they should cost when you consider its usefulness when held against the Bazooka. Pgrens get a super discount two for 120. Thats just beast :D

The panzerschreck for OKW comes with the cold winter package, but the fact that volks can use grenades, can get to vet 5 and heal on their own at vet 3, and get a panzerschreck kind of compensates for that 90 ammunition and even then one panzerschreck is more than enough of a fear factor for allied armor whereas one bazooka against any light axis armor that isn't a kubelwagen is a bit of a joke.

objectively speaking the schreck is better dmg and penetration wise...but worse accuracy at long range... the bazooka is more accurate..less penetration, slightly less dmg(not entirely sure on dmg)

im lazy sry....check coh stats...google "coh stat"
