In other words, I'll believe this when I see it for myself. There is so much broken, and so much time wasted in this game they better vastly increase the chance of getting a drop. I still hold that you should get one drop per match, at least. With a second based on time played (every three hours), and a third based on performance. Also, duplicates should be removed for vanity items and only happen with bulletins. It's nothing but a wasted drop otherwise. And for heavens sake, add victory strikes to the ingame storefront. And I am sick and tired of getting US/Soviet/UK/Wehr drops when all I play are OKW (barely have any bulletins for them), so I am glad that is finally being addressed.
At least!
LOL
As I recall, Noun's exact (and now infamous words) were "Working as intended", which is why (in my belief) they changed who the community leader was shortly after, due to the napalm-grade firestorm that errupted from that very phrase.
It is worse when you win the same type of game and 2 of the opponents that played the worst get tripple drops.
Drops are based on time played, not winning or loosing.
Related to time played without dropping out/quitting
No Duplicates
Spoils related to faction you are playing (or most played)
How hard would that be to fix?
1. Should only drop for the faction you are currently playing
2. You should see a bar which fills up you showing you when next drop will happen (because it exists, you just don't see it represented visually). The moment it fills up you obtain a drop and it's set to 0 % again. Every game you play it fills up calculated strictly by the time you spent playing - this counters drop farmers nicely.
3. Duplicate bulletins - yes, because they actually do stack with each other but no longer after you get 3 of the same type
4. Duplicate commanders, skins - NO
5. Existing duplicates should be, ideally re-rolled for new drops (won't happen, too much loss for Sega) or kept to use in the point 6 system
6. You should be able to use any items you no longer want to boost your drop bar so you get new drops faster (ideally a rare commander would get you a new drop instantly, a bulleting might only increase it by 10 %, a skin by 35 % etc.).
7. Of course I would like trading but that just won't happen, it would destroy Sega's profit.
