♥♥♥♥ against infantry
♥♥♥♥ in close combat
at Vrank 3 it becomes exceptionally potent with 250 ish damage a shot. Other allied tanks (and some nazi tanks) are stuck at 160 a shot. Treat it like a tank destroyer and keep it back out of front line fighting.
Never give up!
Close...
However to call it the most underperforming would be a stretch. The high velocity 76mm of the M4A3E8 perfomed practically the same, yet it sucks in CoH2 for seemingly no reason. And the Jackson and Pershing 90mm Greatly outperforms the 17pdr. I don't know why lelic has it stuck in their heads that US armor was hopeless in the face of even outdated paper tanks like the pzIV. Maybe they saw too many hollywood movies.
But I know, I know, CoH2 isn't realistic. So then I'll just explain that the firefly is meant to be a support tank destroyer, meaning you let something else take the hits and get line of sight while the firefly plinks at the targets and maybe even gets a kill if the german player sucks at micro enough
only way a firefly takes out a tank that first shot and tulips impact at the same time
