Game stuck on top down view screen

I thought i would play this for the first time in a while. But . I'm having issues getting past the initial loading screen to the main menu. Judging from seeing past posts this has been an ongoing and unresolved problem. Am i also right in saying sega have dropped support for CoH2 since the 3rd is now out. If anyone has found a fix to this, any help would be much appreciated

It wont allow me to copy the screenshot over for some reason. comes up with an error. Its the first screen you see when you first load the game before Relic and Sega logos if that helps

i think something like that happened to me and l somehow fixxed it tho l dont remember Atm

got to google real quick - did u try to disable real time protection ?

Probably stopped all patches and fixes now. I checked Relic forum and tech support. There's no mention of how to fix this issue. Got an email back saying i should just buy and play the 3rd XD

It's an easy fix. You tap backspace 2-3x times rapidly. Fixed.
You can then alt-tab out and then return to the game.

Er, wait, is that the black screen with sound? That one's a very easy fix.
