Reconnect button pls

We need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reconnect button like in counter strike
i lost several games only because i had no internet for 1 minute

I read somewhere before that they cannot add that because of the recording of the match, if it is true, I'd rather have reconnection than records of the match

Dota 2 has both reconnect and replays.
It even lets you join and play the match replays.

Seems like random dysncs and drops during/right after loading is increasing. I thought I remember reading that Lelic uses P2P for their games and not a dedicated server like CSGO though. If they do I don't see how they could ever do a Reconnect feature.

Its being told time and time again - it cannot be done. First of all, the engine design is in the way, since it can only move forward (thus they cannot implement rewinds in replays), and almost impossible for this type of the game. There's simply too many units, terrain modifications and many other variables, especially later in the match, to be able to reconnect in the time that isn't suffering to you and the people who wait for you to rejoin (this game is still partially P2P based). You would sooner find another game and finish it several times than rejoin probably.

Dota is the game for itself, it has servers, and you only control a single unit unlike here where are dozens, hundreds (and not only yours).

agree. what is a competitive demanding online game without reconnect. how often we lost a game of connection issues. this game is really good but not more than a joke and no fun to play enduring for me, cause of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ connection issues that fxxx up the whole game - really sad. and man how many dlcs they got in coh2, so dont tell me they cant afford dedicated servers.
