Close the pocket Tips?

Just started trying out encirclement doctrine, any tips for it? Having some trouble closing the pocket, especially if there is a cache and using stormtroopers

No, just make a cutoff, activate it, and BOOM. When you made a cutof, and activate it the ability gives you line of sight over the cutoff areas.

I see, what about if you don't have a cutoff? Ido you still get the artillery and line of sight? (The description of the ability says it affects frontline territories as well.)

Any tips on using encirclement?

If you use it without a cutoff, just some light mortar round will fall down( waste of the ammo). Try to use it on maps like Semosky, Minsk Pocket, Vaux Farmlands, Angermunde, Ettlebruck and maps like these where you have cutoffs close to the enemy base, so can cutoff as much territories as possible. It works on such maps great against a British Sim-city, but you have to hope that they haven't build any caches at the cutoffs.

It's very map dependent. Some maps are good for it, some aren't
