HUD scale

Hey everyone!
I can't change my HUD scale for some reasons. It's just locked on the max. value. Also it seems like, or it is just me, but my camera is a little bit too close to the ground when i am playing the game. And i can't zoom out it farther.

Umm... Do you want to see my settings where HUD scale is on max.? Why? :D
HUD looks readable and everything looks OK, but i just can't change scale setting.

So, I dug a little bit and here's my conclusion :
No, you cannot normally change the HUD size in any way whatsover. The HUD scale option is just for show, and was disabled probably due to the instability or something like that.
HOWEVER
You can use external programs to make the HUD smaller. How you do this? Simple, just a simple tweak in like nvidia control panel (or a program like that), upscale the screen to like 2560x1440 and you're good to go.

Oh thanks! I just saw on twitch that HUD scale option was in mid position, but it was the same scale as my do on max. value anyway.

And about my camera distance in the game... It was just me xD
I am just used to use far distance camera view like in any other strategy games, so it was kinda unusual for me as for new player :P

Oh right, forgot about that. You can have far distances if you're playing modded game. Pretty sure that Wikinger has it by default (like BK mod for vCoh) and cheatmod also has this option... somewhere.

For automatch no, but you still have an option to create a custom lobby with said mods and invite some people to it.

I bought the game 9 years after release, want to play it on my bigger screen (with FHD resolution) but HUD is way way to huge, not possible to change...

Any fix in config/code? For the suggested solution of this thread, my windows warn me that my guarantee of monitor will go and the screen might get damage if I do this workaround, any "normal" way to just make HUD more tiny?

I think its sad that devs did not add this simple HUD rescale option for other resolutions in 2013...

No idea what you people are on, but HUD scaling works just fine now for me. It would have been atrocious to play with 100% HUD on my superwide monitor. You ARE playing in windowed borderless fullscreen, right, and not pure fullscreen?

Sure pure fullscreen. Devs activated HUD-Scaling only for everything bigger then FHD resolution. But my 27 screen with FHD resolution also earn to scale HUD more tiny so I have more from the game itself, which is not possible.
