While I have not played AoE, It seems to dwell in the genre of resource gathering and long playtime. Coh2 doesn't have you gathering any resources (You obtain these through capturing strategic points, but they arrive automatically)
Cheese tactics? Only in 4v4 game modes and against low ranking players
Your first 10 matches will place you in a corresponding ELO, I don't have many problems with ranking
And people call "cheese" literally anything that isn't selecting all of your units and pressing attack move on opponents HQ.
Rank system works well up until top 100, after that, specifically for 1v1, there is not enough players to get good players only good opponents.
Ahh, so you already know COH2 and have played it.
Then why ask?
Seriously... :)
Fortnite is more casual, though.
