I knew about COH1, but COH2?

This is COH2, I have it on Xbox game pass for PC so no need for controller. But It is a newer version and doesn't crash like this one does. The XB game pass version is 4.0.0.65535. But the Steam version is 4.0.023468. The XB Game pass version seems a lot lot more stable, But is unmodable

In case you missed it, Company of Heroes 2: Complete Collection is now available on Game Pass for PC and Microsoft Store!

For Steam players, Company of Heroes 2 is now available as a 64 Bit application as a beta! In the coming weeks, we intend to upgrade the live version of Company of Heroes 2 to full 64 Bit once beta testing is complete and we’re satisfied with overall quality.

We're extremely excited to bring this update to Steam users for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it should mean better stability and overall performance by resolving memory issues. It will also allow crossplay with users playing on the new Game Pass version!

I just finished playing the microsoft game pass version. it does not run more stable. lol... might be worse overall...

but all the dlc is free

You are aware xbox game pass is on PC too, right..? It's not just for the console. It has loads of good games on there for PC.


That being said, great news. Once they push the 64 bit version to steam so it allows crossplay, I hope the playebase will be even bigger.

No I know, I saw when they mentioned it earlier. I just haven't ever used the Xbox app for PC and didn't even think about it.

Fair, fair. I've had it since the beta and I was surprised at how good it was, very intuitive and a very good selection of games overall.

Really? Damn, sounds like it might be worth checking out then. I always just assumed it was a rubbish cross-platform program run by a skeleton-crew designed to make as much money as possible haha
