Mission 4 impossible???

i have tried at least 20 times to finish mission 4 and cannot, im playing on the easiest difulty and i played all the other missions on the standard dificulty

Its not impossible, you are just new to the game and dont understand the mechanics.

Always seek cover and try to put your infantry inside buildings whenever possible. Use the snipers to scout ahead and soften up enemy squads (remember that snipers are immune to the cold) before engaging them with infantry.

you just need to find a way how to do it. Cant remember exactly what the mission was about but I have them all at hardest difficulty with all the side quests for the achievemnts (im kinda completionist). But cant remember it being any dissicult or having issues with some missions. Only remember 2 of them being troublesome and only because of those side quests. Also was doing them all at hardest dif at first try because I didnt want to play every single one of them twice. I'm sure you gonna figure it out, it's not hard at all, you just didn't find the way yet.

Cover prevents units from freezing, steal some halftracks to reinforce squads and keep units warm. Sniper outranges most units so you can weaken/wipe out an entire garrison with them alone

i ended up completing the mission by gathering all my unit sand swarming the enemy

If you steal all 3 half-tracks and destroy all tanks you will get a badge for it.
