Thanks Andy.
I purchased ardennes assault prior to the event (about a year ago). When I try to download the base game, it says I own it already and it is in my library. When I launch the game, I cannot access any of the base game content, just the the DLC I bought.
Some additinal info, I live in Canada, using a PC running windows 10
I can't access single player campaign, it say purchase, it send me to store, it only say you already own the game and only a [play] button en steam store.
2) Any content you bought or obtained for COH2, stating whether bought or obtained before or during this promotion:
I bought British Force before promotion.
3) Any additional information providing more context
I couldn't buy the base game before the promotion. I remember somebody say you have to buy the base game as a gift and activate the code in your account. I never try that. now i don't see how to buy as a gift..
>Again, apologies for the inconvenience,
Thanks to you Andy for give a look at this. I really apreciate
2) Brought Western Front Armies double pack back in 2014, then brought the Master Collection yesterday.
3) Tried reinstalling, registering an account in-game (did get the 30k coins though), adding CoH2 to basket before logging in on steam website (got invalid URL error) and buying the Master Collection, none of them worked.
2) I bought the Master Collection today.
3) I tried reinstalling as well as disabling all the dlc.
I have the same problem. And I bought only British Forces too.
Hello, screen shot of the support team and waiting fix this. thank you
The base game campaign and factions, Red army and Wehrmacht.
2) Any content you bought or obtained for COH2, stating whether bought or obtained before or during this promotion
One year or so before this promotion i bought the full Company of Heroes Bundle on Humble Bundle that gave me access to the OKW Multiplayer Army, but not base game acess. I can play that without any issue, but since steam already thinks i own the base game (which i dont) it won't let me install the base factions/campaign.
3) Any additional information providing more context
This might have something to do with how steam manages the ownership of content, but i really have no idea.
I tried uninstalling the game and downloading it again, but I still only have access to the DLC armies, and not the Wehrmact and Russians. :(
2) I have bought the CoH2 OkW faction DLC before the promotion started.
3) It says that I own CoH2 because I own the OkW faction DLC and as such when I go to the store page to download the base game, it thinks I already own it, so it doesn't add the base game content.
I tried disabling the DLC, but then when I start the game it shows me as having no content at all (no campaign, multiplayer).
Tried clearing the download cache and also verifying game data, but no luck.
Maybe adding the free edition of the base game as DLC would separate it from the base game and enable it to be properly recognized by the Steam client, but I'm just guessing here.
Thanks for looking into this, Andy.
Good luck!
