UKF are the weakest faction at the moment.
And why are you telling him to build Bofors to counter armour? Thats awful advice. Build 6pdrs AT guns if you must play as the british but honestly I'd stick with the Soviets until you have more experience.
Always use the reverse funtion and have engineers ready to repair units when they fallback.

guards are the most potent unit in soviet arsenal right now, they can beat every infantry except obers in a 1v1 and if a tank has dove hard enough then buttoning will be deadly, 2 guards swapping between buttons is a guarenteed kill to any tank
i dont recommend m42, kv1, kv2, kv8, isu152, or is2 for actual anti tank usage

- 1) Be a better player. Be faster, have better micro.
- 2) Know each unit, and it's weaknesses.
- 3) Deny fuel tot he Germans. No fuel, no tanks.
- 4) Allied tanks are cheaper. Make more, make sooner.
- 5) Basic rule: If you are winning, make tanks. If you are losing, make anti tank
- 6) Making early AT gun is because you were too slow. It can slow your life.
Make sure you don't think of them as a tank, support them. Protect them. They're snipers.
- 7) Go crazy with AT mines. Soviets got a very effect, CHEAP AT mines. Go crazy.
- 8) Some people go with guards (AT infantry)
- 9) Some people like AT rifles and AT grenades (and AT mines) on conscripts
- 10) AT Penals. - 11) AT Satchels
- 11) Tank Destroyers. 3-4x SU76 earlier on can rape German tanks when well used.
I think you're real problem is that you like infantry too much :)
Typical example its see how a Panzer IV single shot randomly "vaporizes" 2 engineer squads by a single hit... (I never was able to do this same thing... NEVER) or how the soviet AT canon sometimes on any heavy tank could do 1 hit per every 10 shoots (being 9 deflected) its like sometimes the IA gets a "ubercritical" chance
What I dont really like on the balance of the game its like, soviet heavy vehicles are good but just way to expensive, while the other tanks are a bit cheaper, but not actually "that" cheaper to compensate the huge difference with standard german tanks... the Panther is already good enough for the germans to not need to deploy heavier tanks at all, while with soviet you are almost forced to deploy heavy tanks...
That's RNG for you. Panther's have long reload, (p)iss poor view and expensive. To counter it the SU-85 is pretty good, sure it has meh armor but makes up with the gun and view range and not that expensive.
I have the feeling its simply you're not paying quite enough attention to everything going on and youre being out performaned on the reflex level.
At least you know how to make AT. I find the vast majority of players dont seem to be abel of the "build AT unit" button.
Otherwise for Brits, the 6 pounder is an excellent AT gun, the Cromwell is a good all around tank, and the Firefly is a devastating tank destroyer. Late game the Comet is an excellent heavy/medium tank. Get to your armor ASAP, don't delay by building a bunch of emplacements.
