That's not true. As Outsider said there is more to it than a simple timer. It's not that you aren't paying attention for 1.2 seconds, it's that you fail to prepare yourself for the eventuallity that a grenade will be used in a mid range engagement with mainline infantry.
edit: fyi Grenadier rifle grenades and gammon bombs also insta-wipe.
That does make sense, it's exactly what I'm looking for in terms of balance. Here's a stupid question though, how can I tell if USF has teched for grenades?
Try to pay attention to infantry beginning their throwing animations and begin moving already there.
