Both require far more micro and are not nearly as tactical. They are classic RTS games with a bigger focus on strategy. Wouldn't call that similar.
And yes, comp stomp is definitely a thing in CoH2.

By "tactical" I mean; a slower pace.
There are a lot of interesting tidbits to learn.
It's about assymetric balance, so everyone on the forums screaming about
imbalance? They are all correct.
