I honestly see them more as... one of two crutches that keep the brits playable and hobbling along. The other being firefly tanks. Its not more balanced to kick that crutch out. They'll be crawling across the ground man.
LOL! Try playing Brits before commenting like this. First of all Infantry sections actually cost something unlike their German counter parts which are practically free. They are very expensive like everything UKF. 280 MP for the base 4 man sqaud, 150 MP and 35! Fuel for the 5th man and 28 more MP for adding the man to units purchased before the upgrade. 150 MP and 15 fuel just to make available Brens. 60 munitions foor each Bren so 120 munitions for 2. 30 munitions for the healing or artillery upgrade. 150 MP and 25 fuel for a lack luster mills bomb grenade (not worth it 99% of the time). No vehicle snare with this unit. Infantry Sections are good but they can't be blobbed really because of their cost. Losing an Infantry Section with in the first 15 minutes of the game is devistating and usually game ending.
They're the most expensive to buy.

Once fully vettered and upgraded and immobile in good cover, yea, it is strong.
AT guns can blow up kubel wagen in 1 hit. They ought to be deleted from game.
King Tiger is insanely powerful, it ought to be deep nerfed because it has best
armor and best health and best gun and it has ss written on it.

Brits are the weakest faction in the game (I know USA is but wait for proof) and here is why:
- CoH2 is a fail game compared to any other RTS in the market due to several issues and very amateur design team behind this game and here is why amateur:
1. All factions in the game are equipped by a disabling AT ability such as AT nade + Fausts + Rifle AT nade but not British faction (Not talking about paid AT Boys doctrine)
2. All factions have AT abilities from their main combat infantry (eg, Volks + Grens + Cons + Riflemen) except British (Not talking about paid AT Boys doctrine)
3. British faction is the only faction which has several issues facing early tanks such as Luchs + Flame halftruck and later on Ostwinds and any other fast anti infantry tank. Why? Because it is the only faction that you can easily move your fast tanks like Luchs in the belly of their army without being worried if they get an engine damage or something.
4. British Infantry Section fails to win any sort of combat against OKW stormpioneers. Here is the easy tip: If your enemy is British and you are OKW always start with 2 Stormpioneer and 2 volks and see it for yoruself nothing can stop them because IS is useless in close range. If they make an MG it is no problem you can throw an incendiary grenade which completely disables their cover (such as buildings) while British grenades can be easily avoided by simply coming out of the building and going back inside.
5. Sniper is extremely effective against British faction due to 4 men squads and very slow sniper which almost fails to counter snipe the enemy all the time.
