Are all campaign missions linear?

Hi all, I played about an hour of this game, got to about the 3rd mission (Soviet campaign) - I am just wondering if all the campaign missions follow this same 'linear' structure as the first few? (Hold this spot, burn x this, place x bombs etc) Or does it open up a bit more? Thanks in advance

For Soviet - Yis. Only 3 missions are different.
You can loose only on mission with 2 snipers and where you need to protect Tiger. Maybe on Partisan mission too.

Coh2 Ardennes the USF campaign s non-linear.
