As german going sniper seems real enjoyable, building fuel all over the map while sniping and then building 3 or 4 stugs is just next lvl

I'm not a great COH2 player but I build up my base and set up sniper in buildings and let the enemy try to rush me, I guess if you build enough they can support each other because sometimes I get rushed

If youre lets say the germans do you use any commander or something to have a rally point? Feels really frustrating to be using 2 snipers but only 1 active at a time

I tried soviet with around 2 snipers but idk the rate of fire isnt that high, i have a badge to get 5% range and faster reload 5% but still in maps where the distance isnt as high its not so useful and the german can fire 2 bullets at a time nearly if you use the special ability, idk lol if I had a third sniper badge maybe full sov

Its not even 10%, it's just saving you a few microseconds
Its around 10% maybe more without counting the hability, if you stack some ammo you can shoot double the bullets at the same time wich you would need at least 2 sovs with vet to be able to do that, also hit and run tactics are better as sov because the increased range, enemy as no clue where youre exactly and can wipe squads a single sniper.

Didnt try yet going around spamming the flaregun but seems interesting, thing is enemy will be aware of it

You need static bunkers. You must ALWAYS keep a unit capable of snaring in front of you. As well as for more sight. Your retreat path MUST have mines to avoid being chased down. Be very weary using them against soviets and okw. IR half traks wll turn them into an immediate lose. You must also know which commands to stay away from. Usualy from ability able to ones that can drop something on them. If your forward retreat point is known. Consider rebuilding or moving it. It takes one ability on your retreat point when you retreat to wipe them. I would recomend British for snipers use though. They gain an ability "critical shot" at vet one... WAY underused. It stuns tanks for TEN SECONDS. DO NOT use them in large nunmbers on narrow maps. USE wire tobehind your line to alter your retreat path. Always know your retreat path. Never push past an area where retreating will endager them. No matter the reason. It is not worth it. Consider camping o by enemy retreat points for line of sight. You may be lucky and be able to pick a hig value target out that is at one model Last but not least. You will lose 70-80 percent of the time if you are not real carefull, the only thing to help you win with them is by losing and learning which patterns to reconize before they develop sometimes.
So you saying i need to build another engineer to get traps wich means a few minutes using a single sniper, on top of that i cannot build the fuel cache in time. not to mention I wont be able to use the special hability as german because no ammo so that means half the fire power.

Not really going to read further as you didnt even separate a bit and is real tedious to read.

From my experience yesterday in 4v4 playing sniper only, more than 2 snipers at a time is useless mostly because if you tell them to shoot a unit the AI is so dumb they will all shoot the same guy so you got basically the same fire power than a single sniper.

Retreating so far has been the worst, the AI is not helping that for sure, the guys at relic really cracked their heads making the AI didnt they? hahahaha Now seriusly, would be nice a building or a officer to have a forward retreat point, really tedious in bigger maps to keep snipers 100% active when they need to do a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marathon to get to base.

if you are saying stuff about AI, it looks like you have 50 hours max. Why should anybody even bother.

mr entitled puts an empty title, then complains.... lol. Imagine they build a bunker, da , snajpa only, yea.

He literally typed like 20 lines without any separation, its not nice to read even to i ended reading it as i was waiting in queue for a game, did use a second engineer to put traps and stuff... it did not go very well for the engineer also i lost a lot of time waiting to be able to get the second sniper. Was a pretty hard map with many bottle necks yet still open field.

Since I have a commander wich let me build a garrison to reinforce, retreat and medics I started to make those around the map for the team combined with dropping them weapon packs and dshk, by late game when I had around 300 fuel I started to use the t34s so when there was tanks only and my snipers didnt do the job on that situation I pushed with 4-6 t34 until they die or kill the tanks then repeat sniper tactic.

So far it was working really well, so good that the match got like 1 hour long, my team by that had less than 100p left and enemy 300p, yet they ragequitted and surrender because they got totally demoralized, they lost at least 4 tiger 2 among other vehicles to my t34s and lets say around 100 kills at least of inf with the snipers, lost one sniper as I was playing the tanks and flanking + sniper stuff not very possible.

Had a lot of fun!

Yeah but thats too much for hit and run tactics thats the problem, if i have 2 snipers its pretty easy to use one as ambush and the other one to move around or 2x ambush and one moving around but thats more like late game stuff.

The other problem is i dont seem to find how to rebind keybinds so im kinda not interested in the numbers, mostly because I use the arrow keys all time to move the camera around, would be nice if i can change it to awsd.

Im having a blast with them, the increased range helps a lot in some maps, you can shoot enemies freely without being shoot at.
