I know it will not happen, but i will try.

I bought few day's ago the "expansion" to get all "factions".
Now i bough allready 2 commanders for USF , but i also want to try other faction's too.

Farming 15.000 of this coins is for me impossible, i dont know how i should do that.
1 online game goes 40 mins or so, and with some luck i get 500 coins, or a worthless skin, or another doktrin,

We got so much doktrins in this game, but maybe 10-20 % are usefull ;/
Espacialy doktrins with 3% accu and then another doktrin with 5% accu, i mean what the hell?

Now i faced few wehrmacht players with this "sturmpionier" , so i switched my faction to try it out for my self, cause i lost alot of battles against this things, espacialy the granate is way better then usf granate.

So i moved on to wehrmacht, to realiz this Unit is not normal unit.
You get it unlocked over a Commander, that was a surprise for me , cause nearly every wehrmacht player plays with them.

So what i should do now, if i want to test this? without spending 4 Euro for this stupid commander?

I know relic games from dow3, and this unlock system hurts me alot in dow3 too.
But atleast we got a "Elite Grinder" and you are able to unlock everythink in 10-12 hours if you want.
How is this here? if i wont spend more Euro's into it, and also i won't spend 1k hours to get lucky cheasts,
I want this commander as soon as possible without spending something.
I mean i bough allready the game and the DLC, so why there still something behind a paywall ;(( very sad

Sturmpioneers don't have grenades, aren't on Wehrmacht and are on OKW. You probably mean Strumgrenadiers.

The grind isn't bad. The standard commanders are also good and you can get 30000 coins instantly by linking your steam account to CoH2.

My advice would be to just buy the commanders you want after you build up the 15000 supply. Just be frugal and don't make needless purchases with the supply you have built up already.

Also like Shard said, signing up on relic's website gives you free 30,000 supply which is basically 2 commanders of your choice.

i got this allready as i know.
and for this 30k i bough 2 commanders for usf, like i wrote allready on my first post.
@shard, yes maybe they are called sturmgrenadiers, i saw the commander allready, but i do not own him.

i do not say, this unit is op or something like that.
Im still new to this game, but in generall, if i see something on my opponent or on my teammate, and i think this is strong. I want to test it by my own.
So i get a feeling for this unit, and also weakness...

its relativ hard for me, if all this units are behind a paywall.

Also i did not find a customgame, like "elitegrinder" to get commanders relativ fast.
with fast i mean, 2-3 hours for each commander.
and not 50 hours ;)

The fastest methode i found atm is, to rush in 1vs1 every game, if i can hold all 3 points its a fast win. If i fail, i just surrender and get my 1,5k points.
Still very frustrating, cause with this methode i would still need 40+ hours for 1 commander, this is not acceptable for me.


What i search is something like a annhilation modus, against a AI opponent or so.
Then i could win the game in under 4 mins and get 2k points, is this possible?
Still very boring to farm , but atleast i would be able to get commanders "relativ" quickly.

Right click on Company of Heroes 2 on your game list, go to community hub then the workshop. In the search bar, type in "Spoils of war farming by Cowthulhu".

Set victory points to 250. Pick the side that has all the tanks (east). Just rush your sturm pioneers to the VPs. Don't have to do anything else. If you want to web surf, just have the game in windows mode otherwise it will pause the game. Each run is like 6 and a half minutes or so. You have a daily limit of 24,000 points. After this, if you want to grind some more, you have to do it the normal way of regular games against other players on the official maps. If you for some reason want to mess around on the map and attack the opposing side, be careful to not end the game too soon; I forgot the time. If you finish it too soon, you will not get any points.

I'm sitting on over 100k supply points. I'm missing a handful of commanders. It is not impossible.

Granted I did buy the game on release so I got about half of them "for free".

Never going to happen, relic has basically become the right hand of EA since this game's release. This game is slightly p2w because of them.

Unlock them? More like add more! US, UK, OKW still have a fraction of command options compared to the two vanilla factions.

The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different commanders.

As for cost, we selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch. Among other things, we're looking at average per-player credit earn rates on a daily basis, and we'll be making constant adjustments to ensure that players have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via gameplay.

On a more serious note, yes, the cost of getting into the game is quite high - but if you've bought the factions you already got the majority of the content. Commanders themselves offer very little unique content considering their costs, so I would personally suggest not buying them with real currency. The Sturmpioneer is the starting unit for OKW, not a commander-specific unit for Wehrmacht.

Additionally the bulletin-system is quite flawed. As you say, the vast majority of the bulletins are mostly useless and provide no real substance - but that's how Relic wanted it I guess, since they have never been bothered changing this system since its release.

Lastly, if you're looking for gameplay variation without spending I dime I suggest looking into several popular mods on the workshop.

Honestly as someone that has unlocked every commander since quite some time, with Supply now only collecting dust, I can tell you that 90% of the stuff you can unlock isn't really worth it. Not even from a just-for-fun point of view. There are some commanders I litterally never use and lots of my go-to ones are from the basegame.

What they should give away for free however imo are the ones everyone got from events and through the level unlock system the game had at launch. I know you can get 2 commander worth of supply for still registering your account, but that's less than half of what used to be given away.
