Cannot play on Mac with friends on Windows
I've recently had to switch to macbook. My friends all are using windows. When I try to accept their invite I cannot do it, and I get message "Wrong executable version. Please restart steam.". But no matter what I do I cannot join games created by windows players, and they cannot join me. What to do? There were no patches recently, thus I assume there should not be any patch mismatch.

Disregards this post guys. Windows and mac users can play with each other, bot not with Windows users. This is ridiculous.

There's nothing to fix. You can't play with people that use a different platform.

Why they even bother releasing MAC version, since Macs can do bootcamp with better perfomance. Stupid devs.

Mac os sucks in general.

damn. i appreciate the feedback though... just a shot in the dark but are there any games that are exceptions to that rule?

For mac user, just use boot camp and play on windows. Way better perfomance and it's native.
