JagdPanzer vs Panzer IV?
Is the Panzer IV even worth it? I know it get's good at Vet 3 but it's still pretty bad.

It kills infantry pretty darn well. That pintle mg adds a bunch of firepower. Try doing that with a jagdpanzer.

It fights mediums really well. It has a massive armour advantage. Against heavier tanks it has to flank like other mediums. But that's not really its role.

Really depends on where you sit with match timing,that is,if you are among the first to pull armor out then Panzer IV is the way to go,since it will help a lot keeping the pressure high and then scales into late game very well,able to go up against even 2 T34-85 with a raketen support.

If instead there are already other tanks,especially TDs like the SU85,it's way better to go with Jadg4 since it has built in warp cloak field,and punches heavies pretty hard past Vet 3.

Also consider your overall army setup,if you lost veteran infantry is better to use a generalist tank,if instead you already retain most of your infantry better to go for dedicated AT.

* IF you are winning, go tanks - Pz4.
* IF you are losing, go Tank destroyers - JgPz4.

They're both PZ4, but the "Jg" means it's a "Hunter" of tanks :)
