Only difference is range.
Bars for Mid/close and can fire on move.
M1919 for long range and must be stationary to fire.
BARs also have more utilty as it can be fired on the move on all units (even enemies)
But another downside is they have only 20 rounds in a magazine and reloads frequently.
Paratroopers M1919A6 are unique since they can fire any LMG on the move and have different stats when picked up or upgraded.
i never noticed that .....
Definately not same thing. I noticed more damage from paras, because 6 men, but at same time Rangers have -10% resistance to all damage. And with vet bonuses it become noticeble difference in durability.
Paras with SMGs take heavy casualties, that's why people choose LMGs more often.
Paras can fire LMG on move, but what's point? They have 25% of normal accuracy. Obers much more.
I tried 3 bars multiple times, but didn't achived big DPS difference. 4 SMG + BAR looks better.
You don't have to choose Paras or Rangers. Usually it's like "P-47 vs Pershing" options. Where Elte infantry just bonus.
