MG + grenades
luchs/222 for the lolz

It boosts damage and penetration. More damage on a lower suppression MG just adds a bit more of a reason to reconsider staying in its arc. If you don't pin fast them you might at least kill them quickly enough so they cannot stand against the rest of your troops anymore regardless.
A KV-2 is very late and expensive addition to an army. A Panzer 4 is more of an allrounder tank. Nonetheless 3 of them are able to take out a KV-2 easily since the KVs main gun wont hit moving targets well.
So the more pressing question is, what did you do with the 3 Panzers before the KV-2 showed up? If they did not pay off, you made a bad investment while showing your enemy that you overextended your build.
You already had invested into MGs for anti infantry and I doubt the rest of your infantry army didn't have anti infantry capabilities either. So why 3 alrounder tanks on top of that?
No and no. They used to be excellent anti infantry squads. Too excellent with their flamethrowers plus the high durability. They PTRS upgrade is an anti infantry downgrade for 2 PTRS that aren't super useful. Sticky satchels are good, but can easily be avoided if you keep moving. If you don't make mistakes here the enemy has to highly outplay and fool you to catch your tanks like that.
.....Ostruppen cant do anything alone
