How to counter Luchs with Soviets?
Hello guys, i was making a few thoughts about my last games and I was thinking:
URSS: t3 (85 fuel) + T70 (70 fuel) = 155 fuel
OKW: t2 (50) + luchs (65) = 115 fuel
The t1 for soviets and base halftrack for OKW are more or less the same cost.

So, even with the same map control the OKW is able to get to a very good anti inf light tank MUCH EARLIER than Soviets... the question is in the title. How do i counter it?

And please, don't tell PTRS on penals because they can just damage it a little bit and i have to pay 60 ammo to make my squad worse vs infantry since now PTRS are nerfed vs infantry.

What can i do? Spend more manpower and more fuel to make t2 to get me an AT gun?
Make 1 conscript and spend manpower and 25 fuel to buy AT nades for only 1 squad?
And Guards seem very cost ineffective now so bringing them doesn't seem a very good idea to me.
Only AT Partysans maybe

If you have good ideas please tell me because I'm kinda out of them

AT gun + mines on road + at nades (after activation you can use it with all squads)
once engine is damage don't forget to immedetilly relocate AT gun so it can shoot vehicle
the point is that i build T1 for penals not t2 for AT guns since maxims are ♥♥♥♥ now and can't fight inf

You are forgetting about building time. The OKW truck needs to be purchased, built, moved into the map, set up and then the Luchs has to be produced. That adds time and reduces the gap.

Also PTRS on Penals is good, you just need to know how to use it. When your squad is in cover the Luchs will do little damage to it, but also cannot move in close and push them around or eat a satchel.

It's not like you need to kill it with that either, just keep it at bay. It's just there to buy the little extra time you might need to get something from T3 yourself.

yeah maybe the only way it buying time, idk. the commander with AT partysans and PPSH on recruits seems good aswell

Call-ins are always an option. On the right maps AT partisans can seal the deal against a light in one go. Just don't forget AT grenades.

Who force you to build it? We can add repair abilitie of mechanized truck. So additional 15 fuel. xD :DD
AT-paertisans for now.

Soon they will be nerfed too, because Pshrek OP when used vs Germans.

I'm rushing for su76 and keep luchs scared by satchel, it's quite mp bleeding but I'm buying myself this 1-2 min needed, if situation is really critical then I upgrade penals with ptrs, just keeping luchs away. AT partisans are also good.

lul luchs is perfect counter again t1 soviet (actually luchs rush is perfect again everything). back it up with raketen/puma and you don't need to worry about t3 soviet.

i think stall him with ptrs is the best to do. you can go for su76/t70 if you have better micro. but i'll jump to t34/katyusha tho. well depend on the situation ofcourse

Mines work pretty badass actually.

SU-76, T-70 with some good micro and flanking (to hit in the rear since it has more penetration value than the Luchs) PTRS is a good soft counter when massed.

Some combined arms would call for a mine, an AT-Grenade from scripts, and massed PTRS, possibly with Penals or T-70 support.

Really the sky is the limit.

You do not always have fuel for building tank, that can die easily if ambushed.
t2 is more safe here and you can save fuel

A lot of investment for a mid tier don't you think? Any call-in AT can give you a lot of trouble and you wont catch a properly handled SU-76 like that.
