Not seeing custom skin using Mods Studio 2

So I'm having a little trouble seeing a custom skin I have designed in-game.

I have downloaded the templates, using Photoshop to edit and Mods Studio 2 to export the file. I'll just note the process I'm going through and if you guys spot any error in my methods, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

1. Opening the .PNG template for a 78 (short) curtainsider
2. Applying my design to each side of the trailer and using a large rectangle layer to fill the base colour (I have tried doing this without the rectangle base also)
3. Saving the file as a .PNG file.
4. Filling the mod manifest in Mod Studio 2 and then inserting the trailer template.
5. Filling the trailer template as an SCS box trailer, filling the requirements out, uploading the edited .PNG file and checking the 78 size trailers on the list.
6. Exporting the file in to the mods folder.
7. Applying the mod in the profiles menu.
8. Getting in game, only to see the base colour and no design?

I have performed a fresh install of ETS2 and I have no other mods other than the trailer skin I am testing. Is there anything I could be doing wrong?

Hard to say without actually seeing the skin file defs/manifest/etc
