I know it doesn't help us now, but could you ask the devs to make any future beta updates also available on the full game?
When you barely move your mouse to try to aim precisely, the reticle doesn't move at all. You have to more or less swipe your mouse to get the reticle to move.
The aiming is just not 1:1 like it should be. If they need an example to go by, use RE5's mouse aim. That's what it's supposed to feel like.
I'd say use RE 6 as an example of perfect aiming.
GTX 680 SLI - Core i7 920 - VISTA 64 - DELL U2711 monitor (native at 2560x1440).
Can't wait to see this in the main game. Until then, I'm not even going to start the thing. Anyhow, great to see timely support like this.

Mouse acceleration off = dead zone issue still exists.
Mouse acceleration on = aim is too sensitive and cannot move in precise motions.
i.e. crosshair jerks in different directions when I try to move in a straight line.
However, like I said, even when set to "on" (and again, the options are labeled backwards) it's a little weird. It seems like there's a deadzone or something. Movement is smooth when you keep moving, but as soon as you stop and then start moving the mouse in a direction again, it's very jerky and will move several "pixels" where the same amount of movement while continously moving will be smoother and won't move as far.
Also: FOV option, please.
Disabling mouse acceleration definitely helped for me, but it wasn't perfect. There still seemed to be some aim assist when you target things too which was quite annoying.
Anyone also tried the 1440x900 resolution in both windowed and full screen mode?
Meanwhile, good to see the aim assist ON/OFF feature appears to be working well.
Thanks for the continued feedback everyone.
EDIT: Also, it'd be helpful if you can clarify if the mouse issue is occuring during 'aim mode' when pressing and holding right-mouse button, during free camera mode (no mouse button), or both.
