I haven't played this game since the devs broke the achievements. Fix them, then we can happily talk about expansion packs.

This expansion definitely isn't free, but I have no idea how much it will be. They (Microsoft) annouced that there would be a charge, and I'd like to think that it would be less than the game itself.

YESSSSS I can't wait for this!!! I was holding on buying the HD Edition just because I didn't want to play Age of Empires 2 without Forgotten Empires! When I heard news that it was being released for it, not as a mod, but as an official expansion, I couldn't believe it!!!
I told myself I would buy the HD Edition as soon as The Forgotten is released, just to show that I was waiting for this.

And to people complaining this should be free: people who worked on that should get payed because it's such a good quality add-on, and yet it will be even more improved now and even better quality! And they actually said that that newly formed team (Forgotten people + others who worked on HD Edition) might actually work on more content on the future. So hopefully, "The Forgotten" is just the beginning to a new era of Age of Empires 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully the price of the main game will be lowered though. I actually really hope they'll make a promotion of some kind before "The Forgotten" release, with like a big discount on the HD Edition (50% or more) and then The Forgotten releases at like 5$. You know I hope I'll be able to get the whole thing for LESS than 20$.

Here's an idea fix all the bugs and glitches in the original before releasing an exspansion its not like the game is in 1080p @120 fps you should be able to play interationally with ease all the lag is a crime im upset i payed 20 for a buggy glitchy pos.
