Suggestion: "Grid Style" hotkeys for AOE 2: HD

I'm not sure where to post this, but when playing "Starcraft II" Blizzard had a "Grid Style" hotkey option where all of the on-screen commands (the clickable buttons on the bottom left when a unit was highlighted) for units/buildings corresponded in kind to the keyboard. For example, if I would highlight a villager and press "Q" it would select "Build Economic Buildings," and then I could press "Q," "W," "E," "R," "T," or "Y" to build a house, mill, lumber camp, mining camp, or dock respectively.

It would be excellent if Steam could create a patch to allow this ease of use with hotkeys, or if there could be a mod made in Workshop to allow for this. And, yes, I did already arrange all of my hotkeys once already to "emulate"this grid style, but my hotkey profile was reset with the last patch, so it would be nice if this option was built in the game automatically.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but you can use this new browser-based hotkey editor to change your hotkeys: http://aokhotkeys.appspot.com

It has a list of presets to choose from. Grid isn't on there yet, but I plan on adding it when I get the chance if no one else does. I prefer to use the grid-style hotkeys as well.

The best part is, if your hotkey file gets borked, either by a new patch or whatever, you can save it on this website to download whenever you need to.

thanks for the info, looks like a great site. I've got a quasi-grid profile that I may post; unfortunately because of how the game is I can't overlap some keys to commands (for instance 'Q' can't be both House and Barracks), but its been working for me.
