The not-attacking is bothering me though. When you say you tried different difficulties, does this include hard and hardest? On lower difficulties the AI is very passive.
I have tried games on a few difficulties, including the hardest one. That does not seem to make a difference.
-At what time of reference do you notice this? Or is it they never ever make military at any point of the game?
-Also, if you play a death match game, what happens?
I've been testing out with a few stuff. I played a game on death match, with seven other AI players, each in groups of two. (So, everybody including me had one team mate.)
I then played a random map game with the same team settings. Both games ended with an enemy team promptly coming over to slaughter me, just as it should be. I played both games on the hardest difficulty.
Here is a screenshot of the first game's settings: http://i.imgur.com/gKYA3Tj.jpg
Here is a screenshot of the second game's settings: http://i.imgur.com/6ETr5u1.jpg
So, it seems that the no-attack thing only happens under certain situations. I'm going to play a few more games later on on various settings to test this further.
