"Multiplayer status" screen appears and gets stuck

This has happened several times and it gets really annoying: The multiplayer status screen appears, indicating that someone has a connection issue. But everyone is still connected and you can see all players chatting and changing the wait/continue game/save votes, but regardless of what everyone is doing, the game won't continue. Everyone has to resign & quit and start over again.

Primary example of how useless your advice is. The truth is: This is an old bug from AoE2 and the developers of AoE2 HD haven't fixed it. You can verify the game cache as much as you like, it won't fix it. Live with it or explore alternative ways to play AoE2 (with community patches) online.

thats most time happend when the other player or you have a bad connection.

This is still unfixed and has been an issue for about half of my games the last days. When someone resigns, the game resumes. However, this bug is currently completely game breaking.

So i lagged out and it was stuck on that menu, We both clicked 'Save and Exit' Then i quickly disconneted from my internet and once it came back it was on the menu, saying "Game has been saved' Sorry about the english had to rush this comment.
