Will Steam work with 64 bit ?
I'm not terribly computer literate, so I hope you don't mind answering a few questions for me.
I'm purchasing a new computer and it's 64 bit Windows 7 system, will my AoE II: HD Edition work with my new system, or does it have to be 32 bit which I now have with my Windows XP ?
I currently have an ancient 17" CRT monitor and I'm also going to purchase a new 27" wide screen monitor, the native resolution will probably be 1920x1080. Will the game work within these parameters ?

It will work on 64bit windows. And you should be just fine with 1920x1080 resolution.

Windows 7 64bit is actually one of the most recommended operating systems to game on today. So yeah, excellent choice!
