Stuck on Prithviraj 3rd scenario
Maybe I've missed something, but I can't seem to progress past at all past the first couple minutes of this scenario. I walked up to the gate, got the message that I need to get around the guards, and I've been wandering around aimlessly for almost an hour now. I found the smuggler's tunnel but it doesn't actually seem to do anything when I walk around on it. I've found several villages and no one responds to anything I do. The red guards all just stand there and let me attack them as well. Tried restarted and reloading several times but for some reason this scenario appears to just be sort of a dead world with nothing happening and nothing to do. Playing in English, by the way.

Not sure if I broke something but I finally just used cheats to skip it. I'll be painfully honest though, exploring a hundred square miles of map through a pinhole sized view at an infantry's walking speed was pretty gruelingly boring. In my opinion there's just way too much inert space to want to explore with such a slow unit and such a small view distance. Seems like it could be vastly improved either by having a more scout-like unit or by just getting rid of about 1/3 to 1/2 of the more-or-less useless areas.

Just thought I'd share a bit of feedback with my request for help.

What are you doing outside? Isn't it clear that you have to go inside the city and find a women, and take her with you? Just avoid the red solders inside the city walls(otherwise they will alert everybody) and get to the castle. Thers always a clear way. The suggestions also will help you.
It shouldn"t be a problem to you to understand the english texts. I also play in english language, and I don't have any problem with that mission. Funny that a european can understand the english better than somebody form Usa. :)
Btw, don't forget that cave, you will need it later... Afrer you successfully escaped from the city with your women.

k7a could you take a screenshot of the objectives window?

It should be what NOCTURNE said, that first you have to reach the princess(there is map revealer).
We added a dialogue, if your foot hero goes east of his starting point: "this is the wrong way". If needed we can block the rest of the areas, during the infiltration part, in the next patch.

Thanks for the report and don't be afraid to share your thoughts with us, since there could be bugs that we are not aware of. So basicly every feedback could be usefull!

SPOILER: Since there are 3 possible paths(entering the cave, destroying the river blockade or through the aqueduct) to get to Delhi after the infiltration, i wonder which most of the players used?

I took a route around the end of the Aquaduct then up through a path on the Western edge. I barely survived. But later I was harvesting as much as I could once I broke teh enemy and only then saw the cave path :) Might try that again using that path.

A few of the triggers failed to trip [those for some of teh villagers] I presume I met them before I could earn from them?

Could you tell me, which villagers failed to trigger and when did you meet them?

I've overwritten the saves. If there was a list of the triggers I may remember those with problmes. All of them were met before I got to Delhi. I tried several routes based from one savegame. In the end I got through and established Delhi as a base to go hunting the enemy. Generally using Monks to reduce the enemy ranks whilst I built up an attack force. Those enemy Heavy Camels came in handy ;)

From west to east there are:
Camel trainer that researches for you instant imperial camel for some gold.
Lumberjack that wants couple gaia camels and in return sends regular wood tribute.
Son that wants you to kill dozen wolves to save his mother.
Villagers that join you south of Delhi.
Quarry that should give you stone tribute.
Village that wants you to finish a powerfull tower for them.
Trader that wants you to deliver his cart to the Delhi market.

Failed: Lumberjack
OK: Son
OK: Villagers
Failed: Quarry
OK: Trader

Camel could not be captured I tried looking for them and found one on the river bank... couldn't get him either. I could certainly have used some extra wood - in the end I walled off along the forest at Delhi and trapped a few villagers behind it with a camp. It worked but needed micromanged to avoid them harvesting out into the open.

Quarry I don't remember. Pretty sure I never got the stone though.

EDIT: removed quotes left in by mistake

My bad, you actually have to give 2 ordinary camel warriors to the lumberjack and there is nothing special about the quarry, you can bring your vills there to mine stone.
