when i play AOE II HD Edition i have no sound, music is still playing but soldiers and stuff dont say anything when you click on them, please help fast ty

Same here, music play, anything other not.

Fixed, just change settings in your audio card drivers from 5.1 or 7.1 or whatever to speakers. Works for me.

Ok lemmy1808's "fix" works, but seriously why is AOE II HD the ONLY thing that has audio troubles on my computer? Other games, applications, videos, EVERYTHING ELSE works perfectly fine on my 5.1 audio system except for Age. Now I have to switch speaker systems just to play age which makes zero sense. Seems like very poor programming to me.

On mine music only played before I changed it to stereo. I had to set my computer sound to stereo to get the battle sounds back. The game worked fine before I put in my new Xonar DG sound card. No other game or program had any trouble with the card change.
