"Unable to join game" issue (with my friend)
• I created a multiplayer game for me and my friend. It seems as he can't join, its just stuck on that 'wait for 15 sec then exit' screen. When he tryed to be the host then i couldn't join. When i created a room to be public so he can search for it he couldn't join. And when we both entered the same public room we couldn't press "i'm ready" button and lock in.

• What's the reason we can't play together, we were able to play together 2 days ago and before that just normally. The only things that are in common is that we are friends on steam and we already played together a couple of times. If you know something that could fix the issue please help us out!

Wow what an odd timing. My friend and i were finally able to play together in a same room. I still don't understand what caused the problem in the first place and will it happen again. He said that he simply restared his computer i doubt that is a solution but it might help.. If you still have some info for this issue be free to post. Thanks for ur time if u reading all of this.

Yes, me and my Steam Friends have same issues. First we couldn't play together (handshaking problems), then last week suddenly we could. Today we face the same problems.

We also tried a resart of our PCs and our routers. Nothing worked for us. We will try again tomorrow.

I can also confirm, that we have this handshaking problems (instead of a green ping-number, there is a yellow "handshaking" written) with other players in public games. Not with every player, just a few.

New Update:
Yesterday I played again with my two friends. With one of them I had the handshaking problem again. So, just for trying, I proposed that we both restart our routers.

Surprise, it worked, we could play again. I don't know if the router-restart fixed the handshaking problem, or if we were just lucky. But we will try this again, should we have further problems.

I will inform you all of course. ;-)

I have the same problem. If you find a solution please let me know.

Update:
I found a solution for myself, after trying everything else and failed.
We both installed Tunngle and joined the same network as shown on the screenshot https://prnt.sc/iqsqj0 .
It worked from the first try!!!

Please say if you test it and if it works for you as well, so others can also try the solution.
