Syncing with... what?
So i had AoE 2 as a disk a long time ago, and now my disk drive doesnt work anymore. So a few days ago I bought AoE 2 on steam, and I thing that it is trying to sync the "disk" saves with the "download" saves.So I hit play, and it says running in my game library, then for 1/2 a second it says synching... then nothing. It wont start. please help!! thanks
and I already tried the "out of sync" process. It didnt help

It's happening to me too, I tried everything, really, I checked all posts on Steam and nothing have worked for me.:steamsad:

Syncing with Steam Cloud, you need to disable Steam Cloud, to do this:

1. Go to your Steam Library
2. Right click Age of Empires II: HD Edition
3. Click properties
4. Go to updates tab
5. Disable Steam Cloud sync
6. Restart Steam
7. Game should now correctly launch.
