Defeat the Siege Onager

I was playing Age of Empires 2v2. Then my team were 2 vs 1. But this dude had a big army of Siege Onager and no mather what we would throw at it, we didn't stand a Chance!
He also had Pikemens to defend it. I pushed with horses at the most part. Archers didn't have a good enough range.

I was playing as Huns and couldn't upgrade to a Siege Onager myself..

Have anybody got a tip or trick how to counter a army of Siege Onagers and Pikemens ?

FYI: We won the long game in the end with just pushing and pushing! In the end of the game he had about 2200 kills. And I think that is a huge number in just one match. I made Trebuchets in the end to trying counter attack, seem it was the most effectiv I could come up with.

trebs is the best way, but all depends on the civ.. micro a few camels infront of onagers, hes going to flattern his own pikemen with his onagers. Its all about strat to be honest. There are so many ways to deal with it depending on the civ and how you want to handle it. Its all about cheap units die to allow ranged units or powerful damage units amongs the onagers. mongols destory siege and have an attack bonus vs siege weapons. What civ were you and also your opp.

Anyway, I find bombard cannons useful in these situations, along with fast units that can get in amongst the massed onagers and disrupt them.

If your huns just mass ♥♥♥♥ ton of paladins. Or attack him from the side. make him move his pikemen then when he follows attack onagers.

I think a lot of his kills must have been his own onagers.
