MSN Gaming Zone memories

Did you play back in the days using MSN Gaming Zone?

What was your favorite custom scenario?

Remember the Starship Troopers one? Jailbreak? Castle Wars? Catapult /Monk Races? etc

I know loads of people are saying this £14 price tag is a rip off for an old game but I would happily give £40 to get the chance to play this game again with a fully supported Steam Workshop / Matchmaking service.

I have nothing but happy memories from the old MSN Gaming Zone days and I'm hoping Steam will be just as popular.

I played the first Age of Empires trial on this Zone thingie, but I remember hardly anything about it. I don't think I was any good :p

i remember my brother and i saving up our money to buy Aoe back in 98. after finishing the campaign i started playing on msn zone, later got AOK/AOK then quit for good been playing it on and off ever since.

few clans i remember from zone days CC (canadian clan) /AKU/Storm in aoe and SoLiD in AOK/AOC

I remember my arch enemy clan "Outlaw" wanted a clan fight so I did me vs 3 of them on desert blood and beat all 3. All my clan where exstatic and some Outlaw members moved over to my clan DCQ. I felt king of the world which was great since I was 14/15

The scenario's I loved were Nemo, Warrior's Odyssey, Prison Break, etc. most notabally.

I remember playing Castle Blood on the zone more than the game itself lol. It was addicing and the many variations of the scenario didn't help with my addication. I was only 11 when the game came out so naturally I was bad at the vanilla game. But I do remember playing Deathmatch and hording elephants as Persia and getting called a "noob" as a result XD

used to only play deathmatch and rm regicide. I did venture into the CS arena to slap them all at smosh playing with vetev staff and TO_HE11_FOR_YOU or something.. pkslayers brother

castle blood, monk race (oh my god i LOVED it) starship troopers and tons of other great scenarios, the msn gamingzone was my childhood!

i have some really old maps still on my hdd, including starship troopers, we should play this one again! we should need 5 ppl to play with
