What mods are you referring to? Mods downloaded from the steam workshop? If I unsuscribe to the mods will the Out of Synch error will be gone?

lol, the out of sync error is almost always caused on purpose. Old zone.com was plauqed with it, it's a stand along application that can sync a game out. I am not sure where this program is or if it even works anymore with steam but i am sure some use it still as a game wsas synced out just yesterday when the guy was about to lose. on old zone.com you can check if a player syncs the game alot because of his incompletes.

Some mods, like alternate textures, are fine. But you can't use anything like "no pop limit" or "cheaper units" on multiplayer.

No if the game syncs it will not count as a win, it will eventually be an "incomplete" and then everyone knows that that person drops out of games or tries to use the old 1.0C cheats pack.

I know you don't get a win, but you don't get a loss either. That's why they do it.

This error just occurred to me, and as I got ejected from the game I lost 5 points in my ranks. This must be a bug. This game could've been much better if it wasn't for the bugs...and there are so many of them.

My rank his higher than it should be, and I'm not sure why. Maybe because I won CBA games when they used to count and had no out-of-sync errors. The Elo system is kinda bugged.

i lost about 60-70 points because of freaking "out of sync". It was the same in days of zone... Unfortunately it is a shame for steam to sell a "20 years of bugged" game. I want my money back...

i have tried this and it didnt work? Ive seen that if you have population mods then it may cause it? Now, i havent installed ANY mods however my population is always max (randomly happened) and now i am getting this out of sync error at the start of every single game. I DESPERATELY NEED HELP! Please reply if you have any ideas :-(

Anon, verify the integrity of the game's cache files in the Properties menu and then launch Age.

Ive tried that and it didnt work, ive resorted to using system restore on my computer and that didnt even work. I have no idea what to do what so ever and im absolutely gutted
